The annual information night for the College Credit Plus program will be held virtually via Zoom this year on February 11th, 2021 at 5:00 PM.
Students in grades 7-12 will take their first semester exams Wednesday, 1/20/2021 through Friday, 1/22/2021.
In accordance with the Ohio Department of Health Director's Sports Order amended and issued September 25, 2020, any student athlete who tests positive for COVID-19 shall not return to sports activities until a documented medical exam is performed clearing the individual.
The Return to Play Form must be filled out and returned to the Athletic Office before a student athlete may return to contests or practices.
Governor Mike DeWine established the Ohio School Safety Center (OSSC) in August of 2019 to support schools, first responders, and communities in preventing, preparing for, and responding to threats and acts of violence, including self-harm.

Franklin Monroe is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that that we have recently received information about at least one confirmed case of COVID-19 in a student or staff person at Franklin Monroe High School. Cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed locations has been completed.
Franklin Monroe will remain open at this time. We are working closely with the Darke County Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by the health department as a part of COVID-19 investigation.
Franklin Monroe is a public water system responsible for providing drinking water that meets state and federal standards.

Please let me welcome you to Franklin Monroe Schools. It is my privilege to serve the community as the Middle School and High School Principal. At Franklin Monroe it is our top priority to create a safe environment conducive to learning. We strive to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages students to learn and take pride in their community. I am very proud of our student body and encourage them to continue stretching themselves towards their maximum potential. As parents we want the best for our children. We want our children to be successful and surpass us in quality of life. As parents, where we place the importance of education matters greatly with our children. We are preparing our students for jobs that may not exist at this time. However, by providing our students with an education based in building critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, and collaboration coupled with a strong work ethic; our students will graduate with the necessary tools to experience success. I am very proud to become part of the excellence and tradition that has been established in the Franklin Monroe School District. With this is mind, it is one of my goals to give back to a community that is so very supportive of our schools. The school continues to be a great source of pride for our community and I look forward to promoting and advocating for our students in the years to come.
